If you’ve ever wanted to take a drone to or from work, head to the United Arab Emirates because Dubai is rolling out passenger drones. It should come as no surprise that the land of police supercars, opulent hotels and complete excess is the first place to officially put the Ehang 184 drone into service, but that doesn’t make the idea of flying with Skynet to and from your destination any less exciting. With room for one person up to 220lbs and a small suitcase in the back, the Ehang 184 drone can get you almost anywhere in the city as long as it’s within a thirty minute trip. There are no details yet about when the drone is officially going to be rolled out, but we can’t imagine it’s going to be any cheaper than a helicopter in the beginning. This is Dubai after all so the sky’s the limit.
