Own the First Ford GT40 Roadster Prototype

If you want to park a piece of automotive history in your driveway, now’s your chance. You can own the first Ford GT40 Roadster Prototype that was created and the only one that remains original out of the six made. The history that surrounds this car, chassis number GT/108, is almost as interesting as the prospect of actually being able to take an open air GT40 through the twisties on a weekend jaunt. GT/108 is one of the four GT40 Roadsters built with a steel chassis and had slight differences in the nose section and rear-pillar intakes. It’s the only GT40 driven by F1 World Champion Jim Clark. It’s the only Ford GT40 that Henry Ford II is known to have ridden in (with Carroll Shelby behind the wheel, no less). It’s been from Amelia Island to Pebble Beach and every other important show in between. GT/108 was inspected and documented by noted GT40 historian and author Ronnie Spain, and the detailed report is part of the cars history file.
