We’ve seen more than our fair share of experimental, electric-powered all around noteworthy motorcycles designed to make you want to scream from the top of a mountain to your friends and family about your latest purchase. Next to none of those machines compare to the feelings we have about the Newron Motors EV-1 Wood Motorcycle. Founded in 2016 by two former aeronautical engineers with an aim to build sculpted, timeless and rideable masterpieces that mix design with performance, Newron makes motorcycles built out of wood that are as technically proficient as they as are organically beautiful. Ebony, Oak, Red Cedar or White Ash wooden exterior, mated to a central power plant that can charge in 40 minutes, accelerate to 62 mph in 3 seconds, hit a top speed of 136 mph and is good for a range of up to 186 miles. The first Newron Motors EV-1 Wood Bikes are available for pre-order now at the cost of around $2,300. If you’re one of the lucky few that gets in at that pre-order deposit price, your bike will be available sometime in 2021 for the rest of the purchase price.
