As if flying private wasn’t luxurious enough, Embraer has gone and taken the entire process to a completely new level of luxury with the Manhattan. To put it simply, the Embraer Manhattan jet is flying at its finest. The Manhattan is decked out in deep mahogany wood panels, accented with brass and gold trim throughout. The interior is divided into separate areas with individual inspirations that all call back to the sophistication of New York City itself. From the Cloud Club cosmopolitan style bar and an intimate lounge to individual seating areas decked out in mohair/lambskin, the Manhattan is a perfect example of the plane we could absolutely see Don Draper flying around in. There’s no word on the overall cost of owning or renting a Manhattan jet from Embraer, but we can tell you that it costs upwards of $6,000 per hour just to operate it, which probably doesn’t include staff or onboard amenities. In other words, we suspect it’s one of those “if you have to ask, it’s too much” sort of situations. We can still dream.
