KTM, the now established motorcycle brand, and STACYC, a boutique Riverside-based electric balance bike company have come out with some tasty KTM black and orange-liveried factory replica electric balance bikes. There are two models for different age ranges: the KTM STACYC 12eDRIVE has 12” wheels, three power modes, and is geared toward three to five-year-olds; the KTM STACYC 16eDRIVE has larger 16” wheels and is for four to eight-year-old budding moto riders. The electric balance bikes are powered by a 20V battery that’s good for between 30 and 60 minutes of ride time depending on ride mode and throttle use. Thankfully, there’s a ride mode and battery level display. KTM hopes the new balance bikes will instill a passion for motorcycling at a very young age. Whether or not this will goal will be achieved remains in question, but your kid will certainly be the envy of the block.
