Many would call a handmade hypercar a work of art, but Koenigsegg brings the artfulness to stratospheric levels with a one-off special KNC Regera that takes carbon fiber and exposes every strand for the world to see. This special 1500+ horsepower plug-in hybrid has the epoxy that usually covers the entire carbon fiber body completely removed by hand and then polished down to its raw carbon fiber state. No mistakes can be made or the threads of the CF will come undone and ruin it all. The Swiss exotic car manufacturer has previously used this technique on parts, but an entire vehicle made of the stuff has never been done, until now. The result is a surface that plays with light in a new way while delivering an automobile that looks like no other on earth. We’re guessing the deep-pocketed owner will never let a valet ever go near it.
