Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T. Hits the Auction Block

Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T. Hits the Auction Block

Some of us grew up watching the Hoff (aka, Michael Knight) fight crime while driving the world’s most advanced Pontiac Trans Am, known as K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Two Thousand). Diligent Auction Services is auctioning off K.I.T.T., as well as a rather alarmingly large replica of the Hoff himself in prostate body surf mode. This might just be the best and most unlikely pairing ever to hit the auction block. Replete with black paint all over, that red light scanner bar set just beneath the hoodline, and the unique steering wheel and voice meter lights inside. The separately auctioned replica of the Hoff that measures 16 feet in length was used in the 2004 SpongeBob and SquarePants movie back in 2004, which unlike K.I.T.T., might not fit in your garage. In what might be the most interesting bonus, David Hasselhoff will deliver the car to the winner if bidding exceeds 25% of the $975,000 reserve price.
