If you need to haul ass away from some zombies, your standard Jeep Wrangler might not provide the oomph you need. Luckily, some mad auto scientists at North Chicago’s The Last Detail did a little operating on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Under the hood of this beast you’ll find an 8.3-liter V-10 plucked from a Dodge Viper SRT-10. We’ll give you a second to gather your jaw from the floor. Cool? Great. Truth is, from the outside, this looks like a standard modified Wrangler, with a lift, some fresh tires, and a few accents. But the insanity under the hood, which is clearly marked by the “Viper” name splashed across the cylinder block, is capable of producing 500+ ponies of excitement. When you need to hightail it on the unbeaten path, you’ll be quite happy you dropped the $52k for this little number.
