Fresh for 2017 is a new special edition Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with even more off-road capability. Dubbed the Recon Edition, this Jeep Wrangler’s trail performance is even better thanks to a front axle upgrade (Dana 44 with heavy-duty end forgings and strengthened axle tubes), enhanced off-road rock rails and heavy-duty cast differential covers. The 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition sits on new 17″ Low Gloss Granite Crystal-painted aluminum wheels wrapped in 32″ BF Goodrich KM off-road tires, but the enhanced off-road rock rails allow it to easily accommodate up to 35″ tires. On the inside you’ll find black leather heated seats, leather and vinyl wrapped accents and an eight-speaker audio system to keep you sitting pretty while you’re tearing up the trail. The special edition Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition will be available at Jeep dealers starting later this month and it comes in seven colors: Black, Billet Silver, Gobi, Rhino, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Firecracker Red.
