Jeep’s Shortcut Concept is an off-roading powerhouse that takes a modern Wrangler and turns it into something reminiscent of a classic CJ-5. It’s two feet shorter than a standard Wrangler, has no doors or roof and is also full of unique pieces like the hood, grill, side mirrors, exhaust, bumpers and 17″ red steelies. The powertrain is a relatively standard Pentastar V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, but that’s more than enough machine to tackle the pavement or the great outdoors. Even though it could handle just about anything you could approach off road, it might be too pretty to actually get dirty because of the gorgeous read paint job. No word on whether or not the concept will actually get produced.
