Janis Joplin is a name that should need no introduction, but you might not know that “The Queen of Psychedelic Soul” used to cruise up and down the West Coast back in the day in a decked out 1968 Porsche 356 SC Cabriolet. This one-of-a-kind Porsche was purchased by Joplin, used in 1968 and subsequently painted by one of her roadies in what he described as “The History of the Universe.” The paint scheme is decidedly Joplin, and because of that, it will be on display at the 21st Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in Florida from March 11-13 of this year.
