The FJ Company has unveiled another glorious restomod, and it comes in a beautiful, mud-ready olive green. This ’70 Toyota Land Cruiser G43 soft top retains the original steel body and chassis but they’re painted, polished, and perfected without altering the original look. Under the hood is a big a bona fide Toyota 4.0-liter V8 1GR-FE engine with 228-hp, and it’s all supported by new suspensions, ABS, modern traction and stability control and even some lockers, front and rear, for real off-roading without the slippage. The cabin has been redone with state-of-the-art electronics, new gauges, premium materials, and new Signature seats but with a look that’s still minimalist and consistent with the original Land Cruiser. The leather bench jump seats, front-mounted winch, and, and BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires with full rear-mounted spare round out the authentic 4×4 with the right dose of style and ruggedness.
