If Henrik Fisker plans on making a comeback after the failure of the Karma EV, he’s going to need a lot of visibility. The 2022 Fisker Ocean Electric SUV should help, but it’s their Ocean-based and badass-rugged Extreme E entry that has us licking our chops with anticipation. Following the success of the Formula E electric racing series, Extreme E does the same for the off-road set. Fisker uses the same chassis and 550-horsepower top-trim electric powertrain as the Ocean and then adds custom bodywork, a Spark Racing Technology tubular frame, off-road suspension bits, rally lights, and skid plates to make the Extreme E Concept ready for action. Watch it in the Extreme E racing series starting next year.
