Deus Ex Machina Yamaha FZ-07 Flat Tracker

Deus Ex Machina Yamaha FZ-07 Flat Tracker

Over the past handful of years we’ve seen a big resurgence of custom bikes based on the American classic that is the flat tracker. Leave it to Deus Ex Machina to add the special touches they’ve been adding to bikes for over a decade to take an almost brand new Yamaha from good to exceptional. Dubbed “The Framer,” this American Flat Track mile racer that’s also street legal started with a 2017 Yamaha FZ-07 power plant that was then upgraded soup to nuts by the madman Michael “Woolie” Woolaway. Factory Yamaha racing kit including oversized pistons, factory spec ported cylinder head, race valves, cams and electronics–along with an advanced micro shot-peening anti-friction treatment on all the internal moving parts. Jeff Cole custom custom high-grade .60 Chromoly frame. 19″ Roland Sands Traction wheels wrapped in Mitas rubbers. Four-piston, full-floating, quick-release Brembo brake setup. All that custom work was finished with a “Black Candy” paintjob that uses a secret blend to absorb light and reflection. The Framer is one more in a long line of badass bikes that have rolled out of the Deus shop over the years.
