Cumpert 001 FTR233 Street Tracker

The original Honda FTR223 “Flat Track Racer” is already a very special bike, but Tim Cumpert of Cumpert Contraptions one-upped it with his shed-built version known as “The Little Honda.”
It’s based on a 2002 FTR223 and gets redone with a new subframe, minimalist seat, robust front fork, tracker bars, digital gauge, and plenty of anodized aluminum parts like the ovular headlight surround, the taillight pod, and the front and rear turn signals that make the build look truly bespoke. The red, blue/gray, white, and black colorway looks about as tasty as any we’ve come across recently, and the lightweight, nimble bike should be a hoot to helm, despite its rather modest 19 horsepower output.
