Richmond-based bike shop Classified Moto knows a thing or two about creating some off the wall bikes that are as interesting and functional as they are unique and fun to ride. Exhibit A) Daryl’s bike from The Walking Dead. Exhibit B) The Big Wheel Motorcycle. And now, the 2007 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 they affectionately refer to as “Frank” gets added to the list. For the second year in a row, Rebel Yell Bourbon tapped Classified Moto to build a motorcycle that would be presented at Sturgis (and ultimately given away, if you’re interested), but this time around there was only a budget and no design stipulations. Classified Moto decided to build a Classified Frankenstein with a combination of whatever they had available and a whole lot of custom work. The beast you see before you marries the donor bike with bits from other projects, a custom exhaust, custom seat, Progressive Suspension rear shock and an 11″ wide ATV tire in the rear that required them to build a chromoly single-sided swing arm from scratch. Even after it’s inevitably covered in dirt and grime this bike will still be a looker.
