Carbon Fiber 1967 Shelby GT500CR Mustang

Carbon Fiber 1967 Shelby GT500CR Mustang

For those who are truly muscle car devotees, the Classic Recreations 1967 Shelby GT500 is a dream. But if it’s totally balls out and wallets out for you, then opt for the newly released all-carbon-fiber version. The company claims it makes the world’s only carbon fiber GT500 that’s an exact match to the original. Classic Recreations patterned with SpeedKore Performance Group, who scanned the company’s GT500CR. The panels are flawless and even align the weave from panel to panel for a truly seamless appearance. Under the hood is a supercharged Ford 5.2L Aluminator Gen 3 Coyote engine mated to a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Output is 810 horses, and the CF version drops a whopping 600 pounds off the weight of the GT500CR. The interior is swathed in Alcantara and fine leather, and there’s a premium Kicker audio system and Kenwood media and nav. It’ll cost you well over a quarter-mil to get started, so pony up.
