Caballo Del Diablo 1968 Ford Bronco Truck

Caballo Del Diablo 1968 Ford Bronco Truck

Ford’s new Bronco is coming in the not-too-distant future, and it has big shoes to fill. But vintage still reigns supreme, especially when it’s in the form of this 1968 Bronco, renamed the Caballo Del Diablo (The Devil’s Horse). It’s a heavily modded Bronco that’s won the Mexican 1000 baja race an astounding seven times thanks to its serious setup. Since there are fewer rules than the more prominent Baja 1000 race, builders have more leeway in the vehicle makeup. The Caballo is powered by a 360-horsepower Ford Performance Parts X2347 V8 engine and undergirded by Fox suspension components and knobby Yokohama Geolandar M/T tires that didn’t have a single flat in the race’s 1,300-mile punishing course. The bare-bones roll cage and the twin fire extinguishers just make it seem that much more intimidating.
