At first glance, this appears to be some form of automotive humor. Seriously, who slapped the Buick badge on the Jaguar or Aston Martin? But this is no joke people. This is the Buick Avista Concept, currently dropping jaws at the Detroit Auto Show. Designed as nod to Buick’s performance heritage – that’s right, we said performance heritage. After all, Buick did make some pretty bad-ass cars in its time. This one comes with 400 hp courtesy of the 3.0L twin-turbo mated to an 8 speed transmission. Inside GM flexed its technology muscle with the addition of wide-screen instrument panel and even 3-d printed door panels. Pretty slick indeed.
