The BMW i8 is one of those cars that turns heads. And when we say “turns heads,” we don’t just mean those attached to car guys; we mean all the heads. Its futuristic build, gull-wing doors, and zip draw lots of attention. We should know since we took one to Hardee’s recently. Well if any heads didn’t turn before, they’re going to turn now, as BMW is back with the 2019 i8 Roadster. The i8 Roadster is an upgraded version of the original and now boasts a drop-top to polish off the look. Unveiled at the LA Auto Show, the new i8 Roadster loses the back seats but gains a little more sexiness thanks to the soft-top and new paint job. While a tad heavier, the i8 Roadster is also a little more powerful, with 374 hp compared to the 357 of the original.
