More capable and easily more dignified than an electric scooter, the Bird Cruiser aims to provide another micro-mobility option for the non-pedestrian. The new e-moped (it’s not really an e-bike since there are no pedals), has a headlight, big cushy tires, disc brakes, head and taillight, as well as room for two. It’s driven by an electric motor and a 52-volt battery for near-instant torque and silent operation aside from your whoops and hollers. The Bird Cruiser also has an LCD screen for relevant data, and it’ll get up to a 50-mile range depending on passenger(s) weight and terrain. Bird will launch it in select markets this summer.
