The idea of the Shooting Brake might have come about almost a century and a half ago, but it never really took off in the United States because, in all honesty, it kind of looks like a station wagon. But the lack of U.S. intrigue hasn’t stopped brands ranging from Dodge and Aston Martin, to Porsche and Mercedes Benz from creating shooting brake concepts of their own. The latest concept is the Bentley Centanne Shooting Brake Concept you see here from artist Joe Robinson that combines a whole slew of glass and steel to create a vehicle that’s as much fun to ride in as it is to drive. With plenty of bespoke, interchangeable cabins, a unique seating layout and a rear-facing c-shaped seat that wraps 180-degrees around the car, this is a potential vehicle that’s as futuristic and applaudable as it is incredibly absurd–and that’s what makes it a concept we love.
