For those unfamiliar with Donkervoort, they refer to themselves as “real car people who dream about building the perfect car.” With a reputation for cars with phenomenal performance, the D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition represents the new generation of Donkervoort. Each GTO is completely custom to the buyer and is painstakingly hand-assembled from mostly visible carbon fiber with a little steel and kevlar thrown in the mix. This hybrid chassis is very lightweight, tipping the scales just over 1500 lbs. Power for the featherweight comes courtesy of the Audi R5 5-cylinder which translates to blistering performance. The combination of ultra lightweight and 380 hp (for the Performance Edition) puts 0 to 62mph at just under 3 seconds. Interior is all about the driving experience and can be finished in the buyers choice of leather or Alcantara.
