The Volkswagen Beetle is an automotive icon that’s been around in almost continuous production for almost a century. With multiple iterations, distinct generations and dozens of millions of units built, it’s grown to have a sort of cult-like, iconic following for good reason. The Mexican builders behind Aldekas Studio have an altogether different idea for the VW Beetle with their Bugkart Wasowski mini-kart. Boiled down to the absolute basics, this is a retro-styled, custom-frame, go-kart built out of one of those iconic. type 1. VW fenders. Pair that initial fender-style design with a seat, headlight, turn signals, tall handlebars and chrome side mirrors to develop the recipe for success that is a tiny VW go-kart that perfectly matches the full-sized VW Bug in the next lane. It even has the perfect, crimson rear taillight to match the original on the back end.
