A 13,000-Mile Aston Martin DB5 Is For Sale

The Aston Martin DB5 might just be the most famous car in the world, thanks to 007. This particular one is special not just because it has a mere 13,000 original miles on the odometer but because it’s one the first 50 of only 898 original DB5s that were built at Aston Martin’s Newport Pagnell facility between 1963 and 1965. The right-hand-drive car has the original inline-six engine mated to a ZF five-speed manual transmission, and it’s good for 290 horsepower and a 145 mph top speed. The Dubonnet (maroon) factory paint has been replaced by that iconic Silver Mink color that MI6 loves so much. The fact that this car is an original and not part of the continuation series means it will draw a huge sum, and it’s deserving of every penny.
