For almost as long as we can remember, the Hummer has always been one of our favorite SUVs because of its combination of utility, durability and style. While there have been plenty of electric versions of the gas-guzzling classic that have popped up over the years, we’ve been waiting patiently for a truly electric version of the vehicle we could get behind. That wait is finally over with the recently unveiled 2022 GMC Hummer Electric Vehicle. Much like the GMC Hummer EV SUV posts predicted, this upcoming, Hummer EV will have 1,000 available horsepower, 11,500 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 mph time in approximately 3 seconds, an infinity roof, hands-free driving, automatic lane changing and otherwise uncompromised off-road dominance. It’s a sport utility vehicle capable of tackling all the surrounding terrain without any input from the driver, but it’s just a lot more fun when you’re doing it with a crew of your own on your own terms.
