While slated for debut at the Tokyo Auto Show later this month, we were given an early glimpse at the all new Lexus RC luxury sport coupe. The stunning “concept to reality” RC Coupe is a sophisticated, aggressive statement by Lexus, envisioned to inject a sense of emotion from the first look. Exterior design embraces inspiration from the LF-LC Concept seen earlier this year while incorporating the lowest and widest application of the Lexus signature spindle grille. Interior styling is bordering on perfection with contrasting trim, clean layout and technological advances such as the Remote Touch Interface. The pinnacle of the interior design is use of Shimamoku wood highlights, a painstaking wood laminate process that can take more than a month to craft the steering wheel, that elegantly merges modern with tradition (check out a video of the process here). Available in either 3.5 liter or 2.5 liter hybrid.
