And you thought Lamborghinis from the ’80s and ’90s were crazy. This obscure 200+ mph Vector W8 looks like a Lamborghini made love to an alien spacecraft. Now, this very rare (1 of 18), very low mileage (2,268) version is up for auction, and it should fetch a pretty price of close to half-a-mil. The W8 was truly ahead of its time with carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass construction that made it light and very stiff. The 6.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine churned out a colossal 625 horsepower (the 1991 Lamborghini Diablo V12 delivered a mere 485 hp). The low-slung and heavily creased purple monster might just be one of the rarest exotics on earth, but keep in mind that it’s about as subtle as, well, an alien spacecraft.
