In the world of restomodded Land Rover Defenders, this pickup isn’t the most glamorous. It isn’t festooned with all manner of exterior garb, nor is the interior particularly lush. But we love it for its purposeful simplicity and for its journey from humble farm truck to a capable and handsome off-roader. The restomod included a full stripping and rebuild with a freshened 200Tdi four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, a locking diff with transfer case, Bilstein shocks and springs, a short-shifter, A/C, and a slick Marshall Bluetooth located between the seats. To top it off, the Brit pickup gets a matte charcoal paint job over black leather. Bidding is still going on, so here’s your chance to get a special Defender that’s more on the subtle side but with the same rugged DNA that made it the legend it is.
