Before Datsun became Nissan, the 240Z was its shining sports car. Like an affordable Japanese Jaguar E-Type coupe, the 240Z still holds its own today when it comes to fetching vintage steeds. This Green Metallic 1973 Datsun 240Z is now up for auction, and it could very well be the car you’ve always wanted but never thought of. It’s powered by a 2.4-liter six-cylinder engine with a four-speed manual transmission for gear changes. It was repainted in its original color in the early ’90s, and it seems to have held up well. New 14″ aluminum wheels add to the flash, and the tan vinyl interior still looks great, and the HVAC system has been serviced to excellent operating condition. Though the 58K miles on the odo probably includes a rollover, the thing is still ticking and has some fun years left in it since the engine was actually rebuilt back in 1991. Thankfully, the winning bidder will also get service records, manuals, spare parts, and accessories along with the car that sure to get plenty of attention for very little coin. The auction ends in five days, so start bidding.
