Short is the new long, at least when it comes to vintage pickup restomods. This Chevy C50 pickup has been shortened by ten feet, and a shorter truck bed was added. The new look is big, thick, and fresh without losing the old-school look and feel of the original. It gets a V8 engine, four-speed floor-mounted manual transmission that boasts eight forward gears and a low-end set for towing, and a rear suspension dually setup to put that torque down with authority. As as far as aesthetics, the paint is rust-free with minor defects, and the interior is also in great shape. The engine compartment, engine componentry, and suspension and brake parts have also been replaced or serviced to bring the C50 to near-top condition. It’s a truck that will turn heads everywhere it’s driving, and it won’t shirk from rugged duties it was originally designed for. The owner will have a special truck that keeps with tradition while bucking it at the same time.
