You can’t escape the past. Or perhaps you don’t want to. Such is the case with this brutally sinister 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS from Classic Car Studio. A customer who wrecked his brand new Chevelle decades ago came to CCS with the desire to build a balls-out version of the car he lost to the accident. The result is stark black, low-slung muscle machine of the highest order. It looks like there isn’t a surface that hasn’t been modified in the best of ways. Under the big hood is a supercharged Chevy LS9 engine with 650 horsepower that drives the rear wheels. Other mods include a custom MRC Fab chassis with an independent rear suspension for improved ride and control, a lowered ride height with deep-inset dark chrome wheels and whitewall low profile tires, and a bespoke leather interior smattered with real carbon fiber. It looks like the owner spared no expense, and he can now scare everyone in his path with this dark monster.
