The Shelby GT350 is one of those automotive unicorns, especially when it comes to well-kept versions. One such car is going up for auction this week in Florida, and it’s a looker. The GT350H is special because these muscled beauties were offered for rental by Hertz, and we’re guessing renters didn’t go easy on them, making ones in good condition pretty hard to find. It was light and fast thanks to its 306-horsepower Shelby V8 This Candy Apple Red and yellow version is one of 50 in this colorway and benefitted from spending time undriven in the Gallagher Ford Center in West Virginia. It was fully restored to showroom condition in 1974 and remains near-perfect, which makes its starting price of $180K seem more than worth it.
