The WC series from Dodge, which was produced during the Second World War, featured a range of large and in charge 4WD and 6WD utility trucks for our armed forces. Each is a rugged piece of automotive history. Now’s your chance to bring a little of that history into your garage, as a 1945 Dodge WC-58 Radio Car finds itself at a Sotheby’s auction in New Hampshire at the end of June. As the name suggests, the military vehicle is outfitted with a radio for communication across the Western Front. Complete with a winch, leather bench seating, a side-mounted jerry can, and tools strapped to the back, this Dodge sure looks like it’s still ready for action—even if that action is just a quick run to the store for groceries.
