Designed by Porsche, the KdF-Wagen was the first example of the VW Beetle and was produced in small quantities between 1937 and 1944 to be supplied to minor officials in The National Socialist German Workers’ Party. This particular Type 60 car was delivered to the German Red Cross in 1943, sold in Poland in the early 2000s and ultimately picked up by the current owner, Dr. Robert “Mac” Jones. Rigorously researched to ensure all the details were correct, this car has been fully restored to a condition that we’re willing to bet was better than the original.
