Once you’ve removed your shoes after a long day at the office, the next step is normally a pocket dump. Phone, keys, wallet and coins all generally end up in some sort of tray or bowl within a few feet of the door and a power outlet (cause you know your phone needs juice from the way home). Maxx & Unicorn has a new collection of valet trays made from sustainably harvested American hardwoods (walnut, maple, cherry, ash, poplar, etc.) that look just as good as whatever collection of EDC you throw in them when you get home. They’re available in a rectangular, two section large size (7″ x 10″) with a dedicated place for your phone and a power cable or a smaller, round size (6″ diameter). All of them measure 3/4″ high and are finished in a low-sheen varnish.
