Drones are quickly falling into two categories. Either they don’t have the ability to tote around a camera and are really just toys you will play with for a bit and then leave in your attic, or they can support a GoPro or small camera and thus can be used for a whole slew of different things. The Pocket Drone is the world’s first heavy-lift microcopter. Not only is it lightweight and can be folded up for easy transport, but it’s powerful enough to fly around with a GoPro attached. It boasts the longest flight time of any multicopter under $500 and is upgradeable, expandable, and hackable. Set it to “Follow Me” mode to have it film you or just let your imagination go wild with all the possibilities. So far, it’s one of the few drones with all the features we want.
