When it comes to artificial things it’s all about two things – feel and appearance. If you’re going to play with something that is fake, good tactile response and a lack of defects is the least you demand. Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as “natural cards” but just because they’re not real doesn’t mean you can’t demand the best. If cards were plastic surgery, Theory11 would be the Dr. from South Beach with his own television show and Britney Spears on his client list. They are – quite simply – the best. With the Sentinel Playing Cards they have outdone even themselves. They redesigned every aspect of what we know about playing cards: completely original art (backs, court cards, jokers, and everything in between), plastic coating, 909 finish, new box (with metallic embossing). You name it and they redid it. For $6, this is one “upgrade” you can actually afford to foot the bill for.
