At this point, it’s safe to say if we had a single ounce of CAD in our design wheelhouse we would dedicate ourselves to creating pens solely for Kickstarter campaigns. Unfortunately, we don’t (yet), so we’re going to stick to all of the other Kickstarter pen campaigns out there in the meantime. Like, for instance, The X-Pen. Machined locally in the US out of 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, and designed by two UC Berkeley alums, The X-Pen isn’t your average Kickstarter pen. It’s not rollerball, it’s not fountain and, most importantly, it doesn’t take the Hi-Tec-C refill. This one is felt tip. Outside of the delivery mechanism, it’s also got a magnetic cap, a perfectly sized 4 inch stature and a machine set screw to hold the ink in place. In other words, it’s one more pen to add to the ever-growing collection.
