By now, everyone knows that throwing your good pairs of denim into the dryer is a long-term recipe for disaster. Hanging them after a washing (yes, it’s a good idea to wash your jeans) involves crappy clip hangers that they always fall off, getting wrinkles from trying to fit them on hooked hangers or using a drying rack. Then, when they’re actually dry you have to deal with folding and creases and more wrinkles. The entire process sucked… until now. Steven Sal Debus is a Canadian designer that’s trying to create a whole new hanger specifically for your jeans. Made of one solid piece of beech wood with a special hook in the middle and grooves on the top, The Jean Hanger holds 22″ – 44″ waist pairs of denim by the belt loops in your closet, laundry room or anywhere else you want your jeans. They don’t even cost that much more than a standard wooden hanger.
