In the Vietnam era, Louis Marx & Co toys (the same company that would later develop Big Wheels) began selling sets of little plastic figurines that looked like army men. More than half a century later you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who doesn’t have at least one fond memory playing with army men. Which brings us to the world-renowned Los Angeles foundry called GOOD ART that makes things that work, look good and feel great. They’ve re-imagined army men in a new medium—sterling silver. Made to the exacting specs and details of the originals, you’ll find prone Doughboys, bazooka troops with skull faces and the classic army man charging with an M16 above his head that always tended to tip over.
