Outside of DIY windmills, BB gun targets, pyramid building and impressive feats of strength, we didn’t think there was anything useful to do with beer cans. Thomas Stanley Design proves us wrong again with their Lightin Beer Can Lamps. The concept is so simple it’s brilliant. Take one larger aluminum beer can (Guinness / Boddington’s / Strongbow / etc.), gut it and then add an LED spotlight bulb. We would have probably just mounted it to the wall, but they opted for an elegantly bent wire frame for support. As much as we hate to admit it, they win again because the lines are much cleaner in their version. You can pick it up in the following flavors and frame colors: Guinness (black), Stella (white), Fosters (white), Boddingtons (black), Tetley’s Smooth (white), and Strongbow (black).
