The second coolest vehicle (out of two) in Tim Burton’s 1989 film ‘Batman’ was easily the Batwing. We can still remember the theater erupting in applause when it cast its silhouette against a full moon for a second, mimicking the Bat Signal. LEGO waited 31 years to brick the Batwing in this grand fashion, but it was worth the wait. The 2,363-piece kit results in a big 22×20″ Batwing that would look supreme against and office or bedroom wall, but it also comes with its own desk stand and informational plaque that somehow escapes mentioning its lack of bulletproof armor. It comes with missiles, Gatling/machine guns, and a smoked canopy worthy of The Dark Knight. Three minifigs are included: Keaton Batman, Nicholson Joker, and one of Joker’s goons. The LEGO Batwing goes on sale November 1st.
