The designers at Jacob Schenk in Germany have come up with an affordable and brilliant way of turning wooden slabs into bona fide desks and tables with their Tick line. These metal legs operate like big expanding paper clips that clamp on to doors, slabs, etc. to create functional furniture in no time. No tools are needed, and no hardware other than the legs is required. Simply push the legs inward, slide onto the end of the surface you want to use, and release. The result is near-instant furniture, the minimization of waste, and the ability to be truly creative with your furniture. They come in three different sizes.
