Scrolling through the work of Benclif Designs is like taking a stroll through some demonic kid’s laboratory. At first it all seems very reminiscent of the work of a wiser Sid from Toy Story. Old toys and appliances deconstructed and rebuilt to serve an entirely different purpose. That’s only your first thought though, your second is, “Holy crap, I want all this stuff.” By taking vintage relics (rotary dial phones, percolators, and much more) and turning them into works of art that provide a bit of light for the far side of your leather sofa, Benclif Designs has got us asking questions like, “Does a vintage Fischer Price toy lamp work in this room?”
