Fluttua Suspended Bed

Designer Daniele Lago just made the floating bed a reality. Defying the forces of gravity while you’re counting sheep or enjoying all those other activities that beds are for requires some clever engineering and installation, but it’s nothing the Fluttua suspended bed can’t handle. Built out of wood and metal tubing, the rectangular or round Fluttua attaches to your wall and “floats” above the floor via a single, adjustable height leg positioned near the center. You can free up underbed space for some much needed extra storage, but we’re partial to leaving the space empty to add a cool design element to the room where the magic happens. Bonus points because the Fluttua also makes it easier to clean under your bed more frequently.
