If you’re anything like us, you probably spend way too much time nerding out about fonts and their use in design. Italian designer Emanuele Abrate is one of those people, too. For Logofonts, a recent project of his, he researched logos and font selections for some of the most famous brands in the world and swapped out the brand name for the font used. Nike becomes Futura. YouTube becomes AlternateGothic. Starbucks becomes Freight Sans Black. Red Bull becomes Futura BQ. You get the idea. The curious thing about each one of his creations is the fact that all the logos are so ingrained in our brains that we don’t even realize the brand names have been swapped out for the font names. See if you can figure all of them out.
