EDC Pen

EDC Pen

Spend enough time using anything and you’re bound to come up with some little improvements and tweaks the original creator didn’t think of. When independent designers are pumping out pens on Kicstarter at the frenetic pace they are, it becomes even more relevant. This is especially true because when you come up with the latest and greatest you can make a Kickstarter yourself. Enter the EDC Pen. Kris, a former Infantryman and Paratrooper, is the latest in a long list of people to release a pen through Kickstarter, but his is focused on minimalism, specifically the EDC. The tiny pen is machined from a single piece of aluminum, stainless or brass and measures 4.5″ when closed and 3.7″ when open. Most importantly, the pen has absolutely no moving parts. There’s really nothing to fail or break except the ink cartridge itself. Since the EDC Pen uses Fisher Space Pen cartridges, that’s a pretty tall order. The only thing you have to worry about is losing it.
