In the quest to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly, Dove has created a refillable deodorant that cuts down on waste while jumping up at least a couple of design echelons. The new deodorant is housed in a stainless steel case, and customers can buy refills as needed. While the refills still utilize some plastic, they cut down the amount by 54 percent. Furthermore, the plastic used is made with 98 percent recycled content. While helping the earth, the new design should also improve the tactile and visual experience of using deodorant, not typically a high brow experience. Hopefully, we’ll see the design come to their Men+Care line.
