When it comes to the smart home, there are a lot of things you need consider: temps, fans, security, plugs, switches, smart assistants and the list goes on and on. While there are plenty of disparate devices that do all these things, must of us trust Amazon’s Echo devices, and Alexa, for easy management, schedules, skills and the like. Now, according to a recent Bloomberg report, Amazon Is reportedly developing a wall-mounted smart home command center the functions much like an Echo Show except for the fact it’s much thinner, easily mounted to the wall, will be available in either 10″ or 13″ screen options and will cost somewhere between $200 and $250. In terms of functionality, it’s also much the same as an Echo Show with a touchscreen, music/video playback, video chatting, built-in camera and access to all your smarthome devices. If it does make it’s way out of the development phase, it’s expected to be released by the end of 2022.
